Community Care is a Daily Process

In 2014, I became a consultant for organizational leadership and change management because your right to a dignified life matters.... and honestly, it's just not that hard to be a trauma-informed leader who operates from a position of basic decency toward others. Most of my career has been helping people do that a whole lot better.

In 2025, I created RealBelonging.Shop because the ways we exchange care for one another vary as widely as the number of relationships in the world.

What good is suicide prevention month if there is no clear option for a culturally-unaware but supportive grandfather to buy the right gift for his transgender grandkid for their birthday this year?

What good is mental health awareness month if your coworker never sees you wearing a shirt that lets them know they're safe coming to you for support about workplace bullying?

What good is domestic violence month if people don't have affordable access to quality tools and resources that empower them to make healthier choices for their futures?

RealBelonging.Shop exists to fill the tangible gaps in everyday interactions that a DEI training alone cannot reach.

It is an invitation for a coworker to say "I see you," or a parent to say "I still love you" by giving a gift that lasts -- a gift that repeats the message every time it's worn or used.

Real Belonging is a possibility just waiting for you to say yes to what we can become together.

What will you say “yes” to this Pride month? Who are you willing to show up for?
